I'm definitely ready to go now. I booked my flights a couple of weeks ago and today I booked a few first weeks in a language school in Tokyo.
I will...
- leave Switzerland on 1 July 2008
- spend 2 days in Dubai
- ... and finally reach Tokyo on July 4
- stay at Kudan student residence from July 5
- and start my Japanese language classes on July 7
- else .... ???
I met a potential lodger for my apartment today, I'm looking for one to get that cost off my back. He seemed nice, a British guy - I didn' get the impression he'd completely wreck my apartment and so: NO, it's not the kind you know from Southern Spain beaches :-) (I hope so at least).
I'm really excited and happy now. Japan is on my mind 24/7...

Konichiwa Claudia san! You will enjoy this trip amazingly! Make sure to get a Japan Rail Pass and spend some quality time in Kyoto at the Gion neighbourhood and try some delicious "Kaiseki" (will attach some pics on facebook :-). Do not miss to stay at a Buddhist temple in beautiful Koyasan, to attend an "Onsen", a relaxing traditional japanese sauna experience, to visit the ancient imperial capital at Nara, the samurai castle at Himeiji and... say hello to Kitty and the Pink Panther in the Universal Studios Park in Osaka!!!
